A digital learning application that helps KiwiRail drivers build and maintain route knowledge.
Drivers need to recognise signals and respond safely as conditions change. Arahina lets them practise and demonstrate route knowledge without repeated trips along the railway.
What I built
I built the training application, from the learning interface to sign-in and progress tracking.
- A video-based learning interface with signal and infrastructure annotations.
- Interactive scenarios and competency assessments.
- Learner progress, assessment results and Microsoft single sign-on.
Questions at the right moment
The player pauses at set points in the footage for questions and activities. I connected those interactions to playback and saved progress so learners can work through a route and return to it later.
